CALENDULA OFFICINALIS SHAMPOO
With extracts of Calendula active against the excessive production of dandruff. The horse’s skin is coated with a natural layer of fat that protects it from rain, cold and insects.
Often the unnatural life of the stabled horse and incorrect feeding increase the production of “dandruff” for which the horse is often groomed or washed with aggressive soaps and shampoos, breaking down the protective barrier of the skin.
This calendula shampoo cleanses and cleans the skin and hair, respecting the natural pH and if used well it removes excess dandruff with a soothing and protective effect.
Officinal Plants CALENDULA (Calendula Officinalis) Fantastic plant for its generosity and tenacity. The intense orange flower has exceptional dermocosmetic properties. Rich in Flavonoids, Triterpenes with haemolytic and antimicrobial action, Carotenoids and xanthophylls which combined with manganese give it an anti-inflammatory effect. Its dermocosmetic effect is exceptional in wounds, fissures, eczema and burns.
METHOD OF USE:
It is advisable to wet the horse, wait 3 – 4 minutes for the water to drain and put a small amount of shampoo on the mane, on the withers, on the back, on the knees and on the tail. Massage well and wait 3 – 4 minutes for the essential oils to penetrate the skin and then rinse with plenty of warm water.
