IDEAL FOR COLD AND HOT TREATMENT
Cold therapy is one of the most effective methods for relieving the aches and pains associated with the soft tissues of horses in work.
With eArtik boot cold therapy we can help the healing of new and old musculoskeletal injuries and even prevent them.
Cold therapy can also become a daily treatment for your horse. When a horse works hard, the capillaries, tendons and ligaments expand and when the work stops, excess flow can persist. With cold therapy we can close the channels and restore the circulatory conditions after training.
Ideal to treat:
Hematomas, sprains, injuries and whenever cold application is required. You can also heal strains, ligaments, and tendon damage.
How to use the eArtik?
Put the gelatin bags or the whole package in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
If necessary, take them out of the freezer, put them in the special pockets of the eArtik boots and apply them on the horse’s legs.
We normally suggest a 20 minute application, but you need to ask your veterinarian.
You can also use eArtik jelly bags for heat treatment if needed.
Put the gelatin bags in the microwave for up to 1 minute at 650W.
Take them out and apply where required.
